The 100 ml fragrance bottle will last you 6.6 months if you apply 5 sprays every day. If you are a heavy user, of five sprays you need two 100 ml bottles per year every day.

### **How do I calculate it?**

The output of the sprayer usually is around 0.1 ml. What you have to do is just calculate the 100 ml divided by 0.1ml and then you have 1000 sprays. And that you divide by 5 because you spray 5 times every day. Then you have the number of days meaning, 200 days.

That’s it you get around half a year of a fragrance if you apply it every day five sprays.

I’m going to go through a couple of situations school, office, plane, car, train, date, club, city festival. Let me start with the easy only three spray routine behind each ear is where you always start. Two sprays behind each ear the third one is always on the back.

### **3 Sprays – Close Encounters**

These three to me are the most essential ones because they are the less and least annoying for you the least annoying for the people and at the same time the most efficient for you and the most efficient for your people. Why?

Because they don’t annoy you and they are in your private intimate bottle. So their intimate and efficient and the people around you are very invigorated by your smell without being overwhelmed.

Perfect situations are very close encounters.

- On the train
- During a flight
- In a car

If you’re traveling I suggested getting a travel atomizer. You can just apply them you can also apply one spray and when you get out of the car you can apply twenty sprays.

Generally, if you are in close encounters like a train right a plane, and a car I suggest you be in a close encounter spray routine meaning three sprays.

### **5 Sprays – Office and School/Collage**

The next spray routine is to add two more sprays on the front of your chest. This is for office and school routine. I generally always do 5 sprays race anyways but if I’m in the office 80% of the time whenever I test fragrances I just do five sprays.

Because oftentimes you need an extra kick and also as I told you fragrances do last longer on your clothes than on your skin. I suggest you spray them as much as you want on your clothes it’s better for long-lasting performance.

This to me is the standard spray routine, five sprays. I’m only mentioning the office or the school because this is where most people in their lives are most of the time 80% of the time.

Mostly you are doing something you are productive if you are not productive not doing anything with people it’s also fine you don’t have to wear any fragrance or you can test it on yourself.

### **7 Sprays – City, Festival, and Club**

The next one is seven sprays. This is for the extreme going out type of situation. You go to the city center, you go to a festival you go to a club.

Add two more sprays which are (if you don’t have long hair) on your shoulder because this perfectly radiates to everybody in your clothes area and if you have long hair I suggest you spray it in your hair. The better thing about spraying fragrance into your hair is it’s more intimate than just on your clothes. So you really have the two mythical majestic aurae.

I remember when I met a very cool wealthy successful older gentleman and when I got closer to him I think I even gave him a hug at the end.

This guy smelled fantastic, like some gentleman’s cologne patchouli vibe, you didn’t notice it upfront but when you came a little bit in this intimate area it was very nice.

So oftentimes with fragrances, less is more. I often received more compliments when I applied fewer sprays, so keep that in mind guys those were my three spray routines, three, five, or seven sprays.

The more dense the environment is the fewer sprays, the more widespread the environment the more sprays.

## **Do fragrances actually expire?**

The answer is no. They don’t expire, they can go bad, but they don’t expire.

There are tons of people out there with fragrances that are 20, 30, 40 years old and they’re still fine. Personally, I have a couple of bottles that are around 10 years old now. That’s about the oldest I have, and they’re all still fine. I haven’t had anyone else I know of that has had them expire. As I said, they can go bad if you don’t treat them properly.

### **How to store fragrances?**

The short answer to make a fragrance last longer is to store them in the drawer inside their original box. Make sure they’re in a place where the temperatures aren’t fluctuating.

- Keep them in a cool place out of the light if you can. If you have a basement down there will be perfect.
- You can get yourself a wine cooler if you really want to take it to the next level and store them in there. Just keep in mind that if you do start storing them in a wine cooler if you want to make sure that you maintain that temperature.

And another thing to think about is taking them in and out of the wine cooler a lot, depending on the temperature in the room, which could also slowly start to break down the fragrance.

Not as much as keeping it in your bathroom every day. That’s just something to keep in mind, is if you do want to start storing them in a wine cooler or something like that, just make sure that’s what you want to do and stick to that storage method as long as you can to keep the temperatures consistent for those fragrances.

Now, a wine cooler method could be the way to go depending on the size of your collection. If you have 20, 30 fragrances, mostly niche that you really want to take care of and make sure that they last for a long time, then you could go with that route.

But if you do have a larger collection, you need a lot of wine coolers to do that. Also, if you don’t own really, really high-end fragrances, if you just own some middle-range designers that you’re going to use up in a year or two, there’s really no need in going out and investing in a wine cooler.

If you’re going to keep your fragrance collection small, it might be worth looking into that. But like I said, guys if you don’t really want to go that route of buying wine coolers for your fragrances, keep them in an area where the temperature stays the same. Even if it’s not a basement or somewhere that is cold, just make sure they’re in a place where the temperatures are fluctuating. If that’s the best you can do, then that’s probably going to work fine.

You have to make sure you store them properly. This is something you hear a lot of people talk about.

- You don’t want to store them in your bathroom.
- You don’t want to store them by a window where light comes in.
- You don’t want to store them in an area where the temperature fluctuates often.

And the reason why is because this hot to cold, hot to cold breaks down the fragrance is a lot quicker. So that’s why storing it in your bathroom or outdoors, like in your garage where the temperature changes isn’t a good idea.

Same thing with storing it by the window. When the light is coming in through the window, hitting the bottle, that’s going to break down the fragrance quicker.
